StyleBSpoke is about bespoke style that is ageless and timeless. I launched this platform to convey that, regardless of your age, whether in your 50s, 60s, 70s, or beyond, you can wear bespoke pieces that are sophisticated and elevated, transcending both time and fashion trends, and evoking style.

I knew at age five that I had a gift for drawing and creating art (check out artGriot.com), but by the time I got to high school in the 1970s, I narrowed my focus to fashion illustration and design. There was no photoshop or AI back then, everything had to be done by hand, even lettering. At the age of 17, I subscribed to GQ (Gentlemen's Quarterly) magazine and immersed myself in the world of men's fashion. I designed my high school graduation suit (matching vest, but no jacket), and wore tailored suits and pants, selecting my own fabrics. I developed a fashion sense early, which I refined over the years, particularly as a lawyer working in the financial services sector of corporate America. Three-piece and double-breast suits, Egyptian cotton shirts with collar stays and silk ties, braces, brogues, and cap-toe oxfords, in my thirties, was the norm. Later in my corporate career, which was primarily in tech, in Silicon Valley, I refined my style, opting for an elevated casual look that excluded tan shoes, jeans or khakis, a button-down collar shirt and a blazer. Instead, I opted for gaberdine wool trousers, leather luxury sneakers, spread collar or band collar shirts, and a wool or cotton, or suede overshirt. Very different from the style of today for most Millennials and Gen-Zers in tech, where hoodies and t-shirts are the staples.

Every style or trend is not for every man. And every style or look is not for every occasion. StyleBSpoke is not intended to judge or critique what men should or should not wear, but to show and share that style in your mid-60s is where timeless elegance meets modern refinement.
